Memory Practicing Pi (Ludolph's) Number Interactive Test

Since this number is endless, it has an infinite number of decimal places, it is good for memory practice. Some people are able to memorize thousands of the numbers. This tool is a simple training application which allows you to insert up to 10 000 digits and check how good you are.

If you have some tips and ideas of useful tests that are not already existing in a good quality, let me know. Also please leave a comment if you think that there are mistakes in the tests and I will fix them.

10,001 going strong

Hitokage - 10. 2. 2026

Wow, nice. Should I extend the test for more digits?

{ - 2. 2. 2026

Perhaps you could add a timed mode where you see how many digits you can type in 1 minute or something.

Hitokage - 2. 2. 2026

That's an interesting idea. I am not sure if people need this, though. They usually learn to get as much digits as possible and time plays no role, I guess.

I believe that the system is accidentally counting the .(3.14) as a digit, meaning that I must subtract 1 from the number it gives me in order to get a more accurate score.

Thanks for the feedback. Ah you mean the dot. Good point! It should be fixed now.

I got 59.... I found a pi memory game on google calculator and have been playing it for the past few days. My friend tried to teach me the 100 digits of pi song ages ago, but I never got much further than 59... I'm trying to learn more, see how many I can get! :)

Hitokage - 15. 12. 2025

Good luck! :-)

Hello! Ive recently gotten bored in my college classes and started memorizing pi. I had 50 memorized for the past couple years from a contest but just this past 4 days I have memorized up to 163 now which is absolutely absurd and I dont know how Ive done it lol. From my experience, I recommend trying to memorize them in groups of 4, 5, or 6, but whatever works works :)

Hitokage - 22. 1. 2026

True, I agree. I also got to hundred pretty fast that it surprised me.
